Topanga Social opens

Topanga Social, a roughly 55,000 square foot food hall with 27 food and beverage concepts, opened to the public on May 11, 2023, completing the 250 million dollar redevelopment of the former Sears building.

A joint venture between Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Earl Enterprises. The space carries roughly 700 indoor seats and an 80-seat outdoor dining area, three full-service bars and a cocktail garden.

Note for the roster: earlier planning material scheduled the food hall for early 2023 and some secondary accounts place it in late 2022. The May 11, 2023 public opening is the sourced date.
