Construction begins on The Village

Construction began on The Village at Westfield Topanga in October 2013, delayed by litigation over a planned Costco that was dismissed that July.

The Village is adjacent to Topanga Plaza, not part of it.

The project was reduced substantially from its pre-recession conception, which had included residential and a monorail.
